Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, includes weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers
Provide family and patient education on functional training and home exercises
Implement gait training, therapeutic exercises, and balance interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient progress accurately in Meditech (Expanse) system

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida or compact privilege eligible
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of experience, including skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience
Previous travel experience preferred but not required
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced inpatient rehab setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional mobility
Excellent communication and teaching abilities for patient and family education
Comfortable with electronic medical records, especially Meditech (Expanse)
Flexibility to work weekends as part of rotating schedule
