Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with call rotation as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional critical care and interventional radiology nursing to patients undergoing angiographic and interventional procedures
Monitor patients closely during and after procedures, managing critical care drips and responding to changes
Assist with procedures such as Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, EVAR, and stroke/trauma interventions
Collaborate with a dynamic team of techs, RCIS, and physicians in a state-of-the-art hybrid OR and IR labs
Document patient care accurately in EPIC Cupid system

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license in Georgia (or compact state)
At least 2 years of recent experience in critical care and Angiography/IR
ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care medication management and titration
Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment like IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream
Experience with stroke and trauma care protocols
Familiarity with EPIC Cupid documentation system
Understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
