Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating schedule including evenings, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with varying days per week (e.g., week 1: Sun, Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri; week 2: Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license in New Hampshire (or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of infection control practices
Ability to use electronic health records (EHR) systems
Skilled in patient assessment and documentation
Understanding of federal and state nursing regulations
