Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting
Develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care
Maintain a safe and clean work environment following infection control protocols

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Maryland (or compact eligible)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be comfortable with floating to other units if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic, neurological, and medical/surgical rehabilitation
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a diverse patient caseload
Knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment modalities
