Location: Columbus, Ohio

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating days
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor
- Assist with deliveries and emergency cesarean sections
- Educate new parents on infant care and breastfeeding
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- At least 1-2 years of recent L&D experience preferred
- Current BLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to float to other units or care sites as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of labor and delivery nursing practices
- Proficient in fetal monitoring interpretation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
