Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Thursday-Monday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients with mental health needs
Monitor patient behavior and document observations
Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
Administer medications under supervision
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient treatment plans
Maintain a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications

Valid California Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
CPR certification (BLS)
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health setting preferred
Ability to work effectively in a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Psychiatric patient care techniques
Behavioral health assessment and intervention
Charting and documentation
Effective communication
CPR and first aid
Medication administration
Crisis intervention
Patient observation and reporting
