Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients
Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs during labor
Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections and emergency procedures
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and positive outcomes
Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn feeding
Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic health records

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience
Current Rhode Island RN license in good standing
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
EFM certification strongly preferred
EPIC experience mandatory

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in high-acuity situations
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Proficient in EPIC charting and documentation
Knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor management, and emergency protocols
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
