Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional critical care to ICU patients
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Respond rapidly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in critical care and telemetry monitoring
- Proficient in ventilator management and titration of vasoactive drips
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
