Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, with meticulous attention to detail
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate and support patients and their families during challenging times
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing, including ventilator management and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
Proficient in using patient monitoring systems and electronic medical records
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
