Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties for cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular, and structural heart procedures
• Assist with advanced procedures such as TAVR, Mitral Clip, Carotid stenting, TMVR, PFO closure, and Watchman implant
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and provide critical care during procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile field and assist with equipment including Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergent cases outside of scheduled hours

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience including scrubbing
• Active Florida RN license or compact license (NLC) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in TAVR and Mitral Clip procedures is required
• Experience with CRM (cardiac rhythm management) and PV (peripheral vascular) is a must
• Preferred: experience with EP/ABL procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Skilled in using MacLab and Meditech EMR systems
• Knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety
• Ability to handle high-acuity patients and emergent situations
• Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
