Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in the Medical OT unit
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• At least 1 year of recent LVN experience in a similar setting
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing patient needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Strong understanding of medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Skill in IV therapy, wound care, and other LVN core competencies
• Time management and prioritization abilities for a busy unit
