Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other holiday and weekends based on unit needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver timely interventions and stabilize critical patients
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and manage life-support equipment
- Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on acuity
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Iowa (or compact state)
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills in emergency situations
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, wound care, and trauma management
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation standards
