Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, 36 hours per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns during the intrapartum period
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, identifying and responding to changes
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, ensuring a safe and positive birth experience
- Deliver postpartum care, including patient education, breastfeeding support, and newborn assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain a calm and compassionate presence in high-stress situations
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Illinois
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of L&D experience preferred
- Ability to care for postpartum patients as needed
