Shift Type: Variable schedule, 4-hour shifts (specific start/end times provided at scheduling), PCT

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with compassion and dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and ambulation following facility protocols
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and assist with basic wound observation
Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and the care team to ensure seamless patient care
Document care and observations in the patient chart in a timely, accurate manner

Qualifications

Current PCT or CNA certification preferred (or relevant patient care training)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Vaccination and TB screening per facility policy (required prior to start)
Background check and drug screening clearance
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to follow directions, handle multiple tasks, and work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or GED required; PCT/CNA certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety measures
Basic charting and documentation skills; quick learner with electronic records
Good communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing unit needs
