Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 06:45 AM - 02:45 PM (Day shift) with on-call 1x/week including 1 weekend every 6 weeks as assigned (may include weeknights/weekends)

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for a full variety of neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine cases
• Prepare, maintain and verify case carts and surgical instrumentation for each case
• Ensure aseptic technique and strict adherence to Universal Protocol (time out) to protect patient safety
• Label and handle specimens accurately and complete required equipment documentation
• Support perioperative team workflows, including Epic charting and efficient room turnover
• Participate in the on-call rotation and float to outpatient surgical center as needed to meet department needs
• Assist with special equipment setup including robotics (Da Vinci Xi) and respond in urgent/trauma situations as required

Qualifications

• Washington state OR Technician license required
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience
• Proven ability to scrub a full variety of neurosurgical procedures (craniotomies and complex spine)
• BLS required; NBSTSA preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Comfort with Epic charting and willingness to float to outpatient surgical center
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (1x/week; includes weekends as assigned)
