Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, direct patient care and ensure patient comfort and safety
Administer medications and treatments as directed and document appropriately
Perform timely assessments and monitor patient status, escalating concerns when needed
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the medical record
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Participate in orientation, training, and unit-based improvement activities

Qualifications

Current LPN license in New Hampshire (NH) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and completing required orientation
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
Previous experience in acute care or similar setting preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/practical nursing program; active NH LPN license required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Patient assessment skills and vital signs monitoring
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Infection control, safety protocols, and standard precautions
Time management and the ability to prioritize during long shifts
