Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and support to patients with professionalism and warmth
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them in the medical record
Monitor and record vital signs, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Assist with wound care, ADLs, and other hands-on nursing tasks while advocating for patient comfort
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record and communicate effectively with families

Qualifications

Active LPN license (state licensure required) — must be eligible to practice in Georgia
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated clinical experience as an LPN — ability to provide safe, competent care
Excellent communication skills and a teamwork mindset
Background checks and any facility-required screenings must be clear

Education

Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Comfortable performing patient assessments and documenting findings
Familiarity with wound care, vital sign monitoring, and ADL assistance
Proficient with bedside charting and basic EHR usage
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and care teams
