Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in the assigned unit
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
Perform timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
Monitor patient status, report changes, and participate in care planning
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
Promote infection prevention practices and maintain a safe patient environment

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (PA license preferred based on location)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Willingness to pass background and drug screening as required by the facility
Clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Comfortable using electronic health record systems
Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical team
Good time management and prioritization under varying patient loads
