Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
Perform basic clinical tasks per facility protocols and under supervision
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support care planning
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Current LNA/CNA certification or state-equivalent (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain during orientation
Ability to pass required background checks and immunization verification
Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to patient-centered care
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program or equivalent certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and observation skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nurses
Compassion, patience, and strong customer-service mindset
