Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (days not specified)

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to geriatric residents, including bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance
Assist with safe transfers and mobility to preserve dignity and prevent falls
Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition, communicating promptly with nursing staff
Support residents with meals and feeding, accounting for dietary needs and preferences
Maintain clean, safe resident environments by following infection control and safety protocols
Document care activities accurately and contribute to a collaborative care team that prioritizes resident quality of life

Qualifications

Active GNA certification (Class: GNA) or equivalent state credential
Current CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to work the overnight shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Required health screenings and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Background check and drug screening as required by the employer
Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
GNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and hygiene care
Skilled in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Basic vital sign measurement and reporting
Knowledge of infection control practices and PPE use
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
Teamwork mindset and reliable time management
