Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Support mealtime assistance and ensure dietary needs and preferences are met
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or equivalent
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain promptly
Previous experience in geriatric, long-term care, or assisted living settings preferred
Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to work with older adults
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
GNA/CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Comfortable assisting with mobility and safe transfer techniques
Ability to observe, document, and communicate resident changes accurately
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Basic time management and teamwork skills to support a busy care environment
