Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiography exams and diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality for accurate interpretation
• Document procedures and observations clearly in the patient record
• Work independently to prioritize exams and manage your daily workload
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely patient diagnosis and treatment
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control policies, and departmental standards

Qualifications

• Current Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required
• Certified ECHO/Vascular tech experience — comfortable performing both echocardiography and vascular ultrasound
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a variable schedule
• Strong patient skills with professional, compassionate bedside manner
• Reliable documentation skills and familiarity with PACS or imaging workflow

Education

• Completion of an accredited cardiovascular/cardiac ultrasound or diagnostic medical sonography program preferred
• RVT certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in echocardiography techniques and vascular ultrasound protocols
• Skilled at operating ultrasound systems and optimizing image acquisition
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and interpretation fundamentals
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain quality control
• Clear communication skills for coordinating with providers and documenting findings
