Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the nursing team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care
• Oversee clinical operations for the unit, ensuring regulatory compliance and resident safety
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and best practices
• Mentor and coach nursing staff to support professional growth and strong teamwork
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain excellent coverage
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Rhode Island licensure required or eligible)
• Previous leadership experience in nursing or long-term care preferred
• Experience managing or supervising nursing staff (Director or Charge experience is a plus)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN with significant leadership experience considered
