Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform all CT examinations accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide exceptional patient care, especially for trauma patients, maintaining safety and comfort
• Operate and troubleshoot GE Optima CT scanners with confidence
• Document studies and patient information using McKesson PACS and Meditech systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and unit staff to coordinate patient flow and care
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols on every case
• Maintain equipment readiness and report any issues to the appropriate team members
• Deliver clear, compassionate communication to patients and their families during procedures

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• CT Certification required and active KS radiologic technologist license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (trauma experience strongly preferred)
• Experience with GE CT systems preferred (GE Optima experience is a plus)
• Strong patient care skills and the flexibility to adapt to unit needs
• Ability to document accurately in McKesson PACS and Meditech

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with GE Optima CT scanners
• Experience using McKesson PACS and Meditech documentation systems
• Knowledge of CT protocols, contrast administration basics, and trauma imaging workflows
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills
• Familiarity with radiation safety principles and QA processes
• Team collaboration and adaptability in a busy hospital environment
