Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and ensure proper use of mobility aids
Support patient comfort and dignity through respectful bedside care and communication
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
Comfort and ability to perform 12-hour day shifts and manual patient handling as needed
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills such as taking vital signs and assisting with ADLs
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection prevention and proper PPE use
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
Teamwork and the ability to follow care plans and nurse direction
Basic charting and documentation practices
