Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support hygiene, feeding and toileting needs with respect and dignity
• Document care thoroughly and communicate effectively with nurses and other staff
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift and perform patient transfers/lifts safely
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and ADL assistance
• Taking and recording vital signs
• Infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Accurate charting and documentation
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
