Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Support resident safety and comfort while following care plans
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team
Document care and observations accurately and timely
Assist with transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene with dignity
Contribute to a positive, teamwork-focused environment that improves resident outcomes

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
Must be able to work an 8-hour shift (exact schedule to be confirmed with facility)
Comfortable assisting with personal care, transfers, and basic clinical tasks
Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements such as background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a resident-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing assistant skills and knowledge of ADLs
Patient safety, infection control, and proper hygiene practices
Observational skills to notice changes in residents' conditions
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks on shift
Teamwork and clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
Empathy, patience, and a professional bedside manner
