Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care and observations clearly and timely in resident records
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania certification preferred)
Demonstrated ability to provide hands-on resident care with compassion
Basic infection control knowledge and adherence to facility policies
Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding, background check, and immunizations
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a care team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong basic clinical skills including ADLs, feeding, and toileting assistance
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Good communication skills with residents, families, and staff
Familiarity with patient safety practices and infection control
Basic charting and documentation skills
