Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
- Follow infection control practices and contribute to a clean, safe environment
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through attentive, respectful care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required); must meet Pennsylvania state certification requirements
- Available to start on or around May 5, 2026
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Clean background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively within a care team
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Effective verbal and written communication for clear documentation
- Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
- Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced care environment
