Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Document care provided accurately and timely in resident records
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in the state of Connecticut
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care
Comfortable with basic documentation and following care plans
Ability to pass facility background checks and required screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and current state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, transfers, ADL assistance
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Reliable time management and the ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and care delivery
