Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Monitor and document patient vitals and changes in condition accurately
Assist nursing team with daily clinical tasks to promote patient comfort and safety
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Support timely patient throughput by assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Georgia or eligibility to obtain state certification
Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered, compassionate care
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Ability to work 12.5-hour shift blocks and reliably report for scheduled shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and basic clinical skills (ADLs, vitals, mobility assistance)
Good communication and teamwork skills with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
Ability to accurately chart and follow care plans
Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple patient needs
Awareness of infection control and patient safety best practices
