Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and mobility
Perform basic clinical tasks like taking vital signs and documenting accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — ability to present valid credentials
Active certification or ability to obtain certification in the state of Georgia
Comfort performing hands-on patient care and working in a fast-paced hospital environment
Willingness to complete required background checks, immunizations, and orientation
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and safe patient handling
Vital signs measurement and routine clinical observations
Infection control procedures and good hygiene practices
Accurate documentation and basic electronic charting familiarity
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
