Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care for patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
Uphold infection control standards and contribute to a clean, safe environment
Offer emotional support and clear communication to patients and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — Georgia certification preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but new CNAs are welcome to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
Physical stamina for 12.5-hour shifts and patient handling
