Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, bathing and grooming while preserving dignity
• Document patient interactions and care provided in a clear, timely manner
• Support safe, clean environments by following infection control and facility protocols
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain promptly
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings/immunizations
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and working as part of a busy care team
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and ADLs (activities of daily living)
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs and observing patient status
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Ability to follow care plans and verbal instructions from RNs/LPNs
• Compassionate bedside manner and good teamwork skills
• Time management and adaptability in fast-paced environments
