Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and timely reporting of patient changes
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care and observations accurately and promptly
Support mobility, feeding, hygiene, and other personal care needs with dignity
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care every shift

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain prior to start
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and lifting assistance
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background checks and required pre-employment screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living and basic patient care techniques
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with residents and families
Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
