Location: Orwigsburg, PA

Start Date: 03-31-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility; shift type TBD)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Support safe transfers and use of equipment to protect patients and staff
Collaborate respectfully with nurses, therapists, and other staff to deliver high-quality care
Follow infection control and safety protocols to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Comfortable assisting with physical care tasks and mobility support
Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads welcome to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Good observational skills and ability to report changes
Basic charting and documentation skills
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
