Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
- Assist the nursing team with routine clinical tasks and daily care routines
- Monitor residents and promptly report any changes in condition to the nurse in charge
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident observations
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents and colleagues
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current CNA credential for Pennsylvania or ability to obtain state credential
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with basic patient care procedures and infection control practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Patient-focused mindset with empathy and good bedside manner
- Basic documentation and time-management skills
