Roles & Responsibilities

Provide warm, respectful hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions accurately and promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers while following proper body mechanics
Communicate observations and changes to the nursing team to ensure excellent continuity of care
Assist with meal service and feeding as needed, respecting resident preferences
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
Document care in a clear, timely manner to support patient records and care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-required) — demonstrate your formal training and credential
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and patient mobility
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a caring team
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

CNA certification completed
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient-centered care and compassionate bedside manner
Basic clinical skills: vitals, transfers, ADL assistance
Infection control and safe handling techniques
Clear verbal and written communication for accurate charting
Teamwork, time management, and adaptability in a busy care setting
