Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate documentation of care and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
Certification valid for practice in North Carolina as applicable
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Taking and documenting vital signs and observations
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
Basic documentation and charting skills
