Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
Assist nursing team with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate clearly with the care team and report changes in patient condition
Support residents' emotional needs with kindness, dignity, and respect

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts (day or night) and adapting to schedule needs
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to caregiving

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care tasks and assisting with ADLs
Able to take and document accurate vital signs
Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
Familiarity with basic charting and working alongside nursing staff
Ability to follow care plans and effectively communicate observations
