Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with ADLs like bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Assist with meal delivery and diet-related observations as directed by nursing staff

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Prior CNA experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and handling multiple patient needs

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADL) assistance
• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Basic charting and ability to follow care plans
• Teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff
