Shift Type: Four 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4x10), plus one 14-hour night call week per week and one full weekend (Friday-Sunday) every two weeks — rotating day and night coverage

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic cath lab procedures, PCIs, electrophysiology cases, cardiac device implants, and structural heart procedures
• Prepare and maintain procedural equipment, sterile fields, and imaging systems to ensure smooth cases
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs to deliver coordinated, patient-focused care
• Document peri-procedural care, instrumentation and device usage accurately and promptly
• Participate in on-call rotations, including night call weeks and scheduled weekend coverage
• Complete Prime Core Competencies and skills checklists to maintain clinical readiness

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• Valid state license or certification with completed license/certificate verification
• Demonstrated experience in cath lab environments performing diagnostic, PCI, EP, and device cases
• Familiarity with structural heart procedures is a plus
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist and Prime Specialty Exam as required by facility
• Ability to pass required health screenings (TB, MMR, Hep B, Tdap, flu, COVID-19 vaccine, drug screen, fit test)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic cath lab procedures, PCI techniques, electrophysiology workflows, and cardiac device technology
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy equipment, hemodynamic monitoring and sterile technique
• Excellent procedural documentation and patient safety practices
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity procedural settings
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and adaptable scheduling
