Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging telepractice and in-person speech-language support to elementary students
- Support the SLP team by implementing therapy plans and documenting student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom
- Collect and maintain clear, timely data to track student gains
- Adapt activities to meet each child’s needs and keep sessions motivating
- Communicate professionally with families and school staff about student progress
Qualifications
- Active OR licensure (required)
- SLPA credential / certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience with school-based caseloads, especially elementary levels
- Comfortable and experienced with telepractice delivery
- Available to work Monday through Friday and follow the school calendar
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices
- Telepractice tools and remote session management
- Caseload organization and progress monitoring
- Clear communication with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for elementary students
- Familiarity with documentation standards used in schools
