Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray exams for inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients using Canon DR Radrex and GE Fluoro equipment
• Operate the Radiology Information System (Infinitt) and document exams accurately in the EMR (CPSI)
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by following radiation safety protocols and AHA BLS standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and the care team to prioritize urgent imaging needs
• Maintain accurate exam logs, credential documents and required skills checklists for compliance
• Communicate scheduling and requested time off clearly at submission to avoid complications
• Provide compassionate, efficient patient care while upholding hospital policies and quality standards

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification — required
• Current American Heart Association BLS — required
• 1-2 years of recent CT/X-ray experience in a hospital setting — required
• Vermont state license — facility will pend but traveler must APPLY and show proof within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Previous travel experience — preferred
• Bachelor’s degree — preferred
• Must have reliable personal vehicle and include permanent address in profile
• Two supervisory-signed references from within the past two years — required at submission
• All required documentation and skills checklists (CT and X-ray) current to 1 year

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent training recommended

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT protocols and general radiographic techniques
• Experience with Canon DR Radrex and GE Fluoro imaging systems
• Familiarity with RIS (Infinitt) and EMR (CPSI) workflows
• Strong patient positioning, image acquisition and radiation safety practices
• Ability to manage emergent imaging and prioritize workflow in a 24/7 department
• Clear communication skills for handoffs, patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration
