Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Perform continuous fetal heart monitoring using AWHONN standards and interpret tracings
- Lead and participate in neonatal resuscitation (NRP) when required to support newborns
- Respond rapidly and effectively to obstetric and perinatal emergencies using ACLS/BLS protocols
- Collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists and the care team to optimize outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families through labor, delivery and immediate postpartum care
- Document assessments, interventions and patient progress clearly and professionally
- Participate in unit competency testing and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure with License/Certificate Verification required
- Certifications required: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as required
- Current health and screening requirements (2-step PPD or IGRA, fit test, drug screen, Tdap, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, flu vaccine, COVID-19 vaccine, physical/health statement)
- Comfort and experience working in Labor and Delivery settings and responding to emergent situations
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in labor and delivery nursing and intrapartum care
- Proficient with fetal heart monitoring interpretation (AWHONN-guided)
- Knowledgeable in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization (NRP)
- Competent in ACLS and BLS protocols for maternal and neonatal emergencies
- Strong assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
- Familiarity with hospital credentialing and license verification processes
