Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the Cost Accounting and Decision Support systems to produce accurate service line profitability analyses
• Publish and review monthly service line and physician practice P&L statements and scorecards
• Lead development of financial feasibility and reimbursement templates in STRATA, including ROI, NPV and IRR analyses
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to identify performance improvement plans for service lines
• Oversee reporting to rating agencies and external stakeholders with timely, auditable outputs
• Train and mentor managers, the decision support supervisor, and analysts to use productivity and forecasting tools
• Support software implementations and integrations related to ERP, leasing software, and STRATA forecasting
• Prepare and provide documentation and reports for audits, GME reporting, and cost report filing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting and/or decision support
• Hands-on experience with STRATA financial software or a similar platform
• Healthcare finance experience, preferably in hospitals or health systems
• Proven ability to develop feasibility analyses and perform complex financial modeling
• Experience training, mentoring and supervising staff
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration or Health Administration
• Preferred: Financial and/or healthcare certifications; experience with bundled payments and physician reimbursement

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (required)
• Master Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Cost accounting and budget management in a healthcare setting
• Service line profitability analysis and P&L preparation
• STRATA financial software and rolling forecast modules
• Financial forecasting, decision support, and forecasting methodologies
• Financial reporting for external agencies and auditors
• Proficiency with ERP concepts and integrations
• Strong Excel and ad hoc reporting skills with attention to auditability
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across clinical and operational teams
