Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / variable days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at the bedside
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans
Educate patients and families to promote recovery and self-care
Escalate changes in patient condition and participate in timely handoffs
Contribute to a culture of safety, quality improvement, and professional accountability

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in Pennsylvania
Current BLS/CPR certification or able to obtain upon hire
Clinical experience in acute care or similar settings preferred but per diem roles may consider a range of experience levels
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a collaborative care team
Proof of immunizations and any facility-required health screenings

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid assessment skills and clinical judgment in adult medicine
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Patient education and family-focused communication skills
