Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents with dignity
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to the clinical team
Document care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality
Support mealtime and nourishment needs, including safe feeding practices
Engage residents in friendly conversation and meaningful social interaction
Follow infection control and safety policies to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Valid Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Compassionate attitude and prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of senior care basics and geriatric needs
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Basic vital signs and observation skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with infection control and resident safety practices
Comfortable with routine documentation and following care plans
