Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
Support nursing staff by reporting changes in patient condition promptly
Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients
Assist with transfers, mobility and safe patient handling using proper techniques
Document care in a clear, timely and professional manner
Practice infection control and follow facility policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state required)
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass facility background checks and required screenings
Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care fundamentals and understanding of ADLs
Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
Safe patient transfer and mobility techniques
Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and families
