Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents with dignity and respect
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them clearly
- Perform timely assessments and monitor changes in resident condition
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and care teams to create and follow individualized care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident independence whenever possible
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure excellent service
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Vermont) required
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable working evenings and committed to weekend coverage
- Local candidate (LOCAL ONLY) — RTO must be approved ahead of time and listed in the contract
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic treatment procedures
- Patient/resident assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Wound care and activity of daily living support
- Clear clinical documentation and charting practices
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Teamwork, time management, and effective communication
